Papaya processes information about the installed Apps on your device. Additionally, when you explictly grant Papaya access to certain folders on your device, it will also process metadata of the files located inside this folder (file name, folder name).
Papaya uses the information about the installed Apps on your device solely for displaying the App lists on the Home screen and for guiding you when you set up shortcuts to games inside these Apps (Preselecting installed Apps). This data is not shared with any third party and is only stored locally on your device.
The aforementioned metadata of files in certain folders you grant Papaya explictly access to, is used to enrich the shortcuts to games in other Apps: The file names or folder names might be sent to api.igdb.com and/or thegamesdb.net in exchange for more details about the game shortcut. Such details include cover images, release dates, genres etc. This additional data is again only used to display them on your Home screen. Please note that this file metadata might only be shared with one or both of these two services mentioned above.
Papaya stores your personal data (Installed Apps, file metadata) on your device. You can erase all of your personal data via Android's App settings menu: Long click Papaya's App icon, select "App Info", click "storage & cache" and finally "clear storage". Note: Uninstalling the App might not necessarily remove your personal data if a backup option is enabled.
